Maybe its not hard-hitting.
Maybe its not a seminal piece of TV drama.
Maybe its not an accurate portrayal of our schools.
But I can't help being incredibly, amazingly, unbelievably excited about the return of Waterloo Road to our screens. What new schemes will be levelled against this brilliant (but somehow struggling) school this time? Who will die after the tragic fire last series? Will the surprisingly skilled headmistress Rachel survive either the fire, or the disgrace as her former profession as a prostitute reaches the governors?
If all our schools were like Waterloo Road, with such glamorous, amazing staff (including tonnes of former Corrie actors)... would there be a shortage of willing Headteachers?
Hmm...
Anyway, don't forget to watch it at 8pm tonight!
